Home / Glossary & FAQ / Digital Nomad
As work becomes increasingly location independent, the concept of Digital Nomads and Nomadism is becoming more interesting to a lot of people. What was once only available to self-employed entrepreneurs, now becomes possible to more and more people.
A digital nomad is sometimes described as a "professional homeless" or backpacker. They make use of being location independent by living and working in different countries, usually some months at a time, before they switch locations. They often stay in rented apartments or Airbnbs, less often in hotels or hostels.
